While this may not actually be a bug, it does cause some headaches making you think a link is going down when it isn't. If you watch the link percent usage it goes from 0/0 to various ranges up to 100/100 then back down to 0/0. Would be be possible to detect a tunnel link and not treat it as ethernet by default? I don't know what values you'd want to use for minRate and maxRate by default.
