Error #304
closed[Clearance] AP mode is not working
Description
This is ambiguous:
The AP mode provided in luci "Wireless Settings" is for make point-to-point links, labeled "Master (no DHCP)". I suppose that Client works with that Master, but is not a general Client for wifi connections.
I propose a better documentation as in quick setup
Proposal:
AdHoc (mesh) + Access Point (LAN): dedicates the wifi device to mesh and an Access Point to clients.
AdHoc (mesh): dedicates the wifi device to mesh.
Master (mesh, no DHCP): Master in AP mode for Point-to-Point wifi link
Client (mesh): Client in AP mode for Point-to-Point wifi link
[feature?] Access Point (LAN): dedicates the wifi device as an Access Point to clients
Is missing:
An exclusively and generic (full) AP mode (the mesh can go through ethernet).
Is not working:
The unique mode in Wireless Settings is AP+mesh
